Went to shop for books on last Friday, by using the vouchers worth RM200 that the government gave to us students. As a bookworm, I'm really thankful for the vouchers~ ^^ So, I bought a few books to savour, some benefits for my study, some for self-enrichment and some for my leisure~!
So far I just finish reading the Chinese novel "Irish Coffee". A nice love story associated with Irish coffee, which is a strong and warm blend of coffee bean and alcohol. Thumbs up for the book! Makes me curious of this coffee's unique taste~ *drool* Recently I'm attracted to romance that has the warm coffee aroma wafting in it, after I read this other book "等一个人咖啡" written by Giddens, another really wonderful story of coffee and love. I read this book read till my tears welled out. It's touching, and shows how oblivious human could be when love come to them.

最近看了〈那些年，我们一起追的女孩〉和〈Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I〉，两部都是小说改编的电影。

看〈Breaking Dawn〉的时候时间很快过，感觉屁股都还没坐热就已经看完了。看到尾声的时候我还在等接下来会发生什么，就听到结尾曲了。没办法，它还有Part II。
幸好我是先看了小说才看〈Breaking Dawn〉，要不然有些情节我根本看不懂……

最近朋友介绍了几部泰国电影给我…… 我一口气把它们看完了，确实不错。第一次看到除了鬼戏以外好看的泰国电影，也可能因为我根本就没看泰国电影的关系吧…… =P

这几部当中最好看的，就是〈你好，陌生人〉。一个刚被女友甩了的男生，一个瞒着男友偷偷出来玩的女生，在异地遇上了…… 男生跟旅行团跟丢了，就硬缠着自助旅行的女生，故事就此展开~ 男生即无厘头又幼稚，女生则好玩且爱做梦，两个人的搞笑事迹简直害我笑翻了…… 直到旅程结束了，两人都还不知道对方的名字。因为那个女生说：“很高兴不认识你，如果我知道了你的名字，我就要开始关心你，就不能有话直说。如此说来，很高兴不认识你。” 呵呵，很有趣的泰国电影~ 虽然还是有点不习惯泰国话的腔调的说…… kap kap kap~

So I've read a book---Mine Are Spectacular. One of the books that I bought at a book fair... Costs me RM7.90 only~ XD It's a book about 3 women's lives. I get to learnt something about dermatology through this book. And you will also be able to find out how to boost your confidence in this book. Lol~

刚才看了中国达人秀，超感动的！一位颈上绑了条丝巾的六旬老阿姨抱着吉他，上台弹唱了一首歌---“因为爱情”，送给她在天国的丈夫，还讲起她丈夫还在世时的点点滴滴…… 看了好感动，害我敷着面膜流眼泪…… 呜呜……

昨天午餐时间和朋友去LKW附近的Rumah Hijau吃午饭~ 虽然在LKW有一年半了，但我还真的没来过这里……
好好吃的巧克力蛋糕~
越吃越甜的芝士蛋糕……
我点的nasi goreng ayam penyet~ 不错吃的说~ 除了主角ayam penyet外，旁边还放了一堆生菜，真健康~
看着旁边的马来人用手吃饭，我也有样学样，用包菜把饭和一小块ayam penyet包起来吃……XD
里面的墙都漆上不同的颜色，有红有青，洗手间是蓝色的……整个空间好缤纷~ 而且挂着好多奶白色风铃……

这个是下午上完课跑去肯雅兰的 “舒哥棒” 买的冰淇淋~ 拍来玩photoscape的……XD 有点lomo的感觉~ 最近有点爱上lomo了~ 呵呵~

One last meet up with junsu before I go back to hell again XD

Decided to give junsu her marble nails manicure that I promised. So we met up and have a light lunch before doing the tedious manicure. We went to Mr. Bean and ate tauhu hua~
Junsu's pearl beancurd and mine la la zak zak beancurd~ (XD I forgot what it's called... Only remember it has some sort of jelly, mango pudding, pearls and longan)
Banana toast~ With a layer of chocolate between the banana slices and the toast~ Yum yum~
The colour scheme is a bit like mine. Cause only that few bottles of nail polish are smooth enough to do water marbling. >.< And my own marble nails got spoilt as a result of helping her do hers. XD

WOKE up to see a grey cloudy sky dampened by a heavy downpour with booming thunder this morning. This should be a sight that triggers a message:"go back and have a good sleep" to me, since holiday is ending within a few days, I should get as much sleep as possible before the-night-is-still-young days are coming back. But I can't wait to finish up "Remember Me?", a book I borrowed from eeyore. I've somehow adopted a habit of reading before sleep AND after sleep. @@ A typical bookworm.
It has an interesting plot. A 25-year-old Snaggletooth girl waking up few days after a car crash, finding out that she's in 2007, instead of 2004. Not only she has a down-right gorgeous husband, her teeth veneered, lives in an amazingly hi-tech penthouse, but also, she's no more so-called junior assistant accounting clerk, she's the director of a whole department!
It just so happens that she has amnesia after the accident, which means she loses her memory of the past 3 years. She gets constantly baffled and confused on how her old ragged self transformed into this perfect self. It's like she's suddenly landed into a perfect life. However, as time passes, she realizes that this life that she thought is perfect is not that perfect after all.
Suspenses lie everywhere in this book. I think it's a nice movie material~ Hope that the movie-makers will discover~ ^^
WATCHED Burlesque yesterday with my friend eeyore, who recently is quite Becky-ish. @@
There are several amazing burlesque shows that Ali (Christina Aguilera) and Tess (Cher) put on in this film. Which is why I think this movie deserves its price, considering that people have to pay for tickets that must be much more expensive than movie tickets in order to watch a genuine burlesque show, whereas you can get to watch SEVERAL awesome burlesque shows by only paying for this movie ticket, and they are exclusively performed by Christina Aguilera and Cher too. XD

WOKE up this morning at around 8am and decided to finish up my Mini Shopaholic. When I was engrossed in it, a message came in... Honestly, I still thought that was my dear greeting me good morning, but it turned out to be from Digi Rewards. @@ Really needs some time to get used to this...
Back to Mini Shopaholic, I managed to finish it~ ^^ It's yet another really nice novel by Sophie Kinsella~ Becky is back in Oxshott with her husband Luke and also their two-year-old daughter Minnie~ Living in Becky's parents' house, they're eager to find a new house. However, their house deals had fallen through 4 times already, it's as if they're jinxed.
Besides, Becky is troubled by her daughter Minnie, who's been banned from 4 Santa's Grottos because of creating chaos such as biting the Santa. Despite the facts, Becky is still convinced that Minnie isn't spoilt. No matter what, Luke is determined to find a way to "cure" Minnie.
On the other hand, Bank of London is closed, influencing the whole economic world of the country, which means everyone has to be careful with their expenses. A bad news to shopaholic Becky~
Meanwhile Becky is planning a surprise party for Luke on his birthday, which she wants to be totally cool with a tent for 200 people, fire-eaters, jugglers and a dance floor which lights up. She wants it to completely blow Luke away and also an unforgettable experience for the guests. You'll know how she plans a cool party during this economic turmoil after reading this book. =)

YESTERDAY went to have my 1st McD's Prosperity Burger with my dear~ ^^ We ordered the beef one, with Curly Fries in the set~
It's unexpectedly spicy, with so much black pepper...
We watched "Up" after the lunch~ It's the 2nd time I watch it, and I still love the love story part between Carl and Ellie~ ^^ Their love is one of those that don't have expiry dates attached... Sweet and long-lasting~ The idea of using helium balloons to lift a house in the sky is romantic and incredible, though impossible...
Here's Carl and Ellie, looking at the clouds, imagining possible animals from the shapes... ^^ Aww, they are just so loving~
HMM... Since today I'm so free, gonna blog all I want~ XD Cause many things haven't update...
Tuesday, after going to her house paying a visit, went to watch "Yogi Bear" with my never-growing-up friend---junsu~
Though this cartoon was created and published back in 1958, which is so long ago, I still have some images of this bear in my childhood memory. I remember that I got a Yogi Bear model as my toy, but I forgot where I put it already... Or was it thrown? Hmm... Whatever~ This movie is mainly about how the naughty and clever bear worked with his friends to save their home---Jellystone Park, from being exploited. Oh, and also about what tricks you can use to steal a picnic basket. XD
After the movie, we went to have pizza as our dinner... Yea, pizza again~ Cause my friend junsu said she long time no eat pizza already...

With our stomaches stuffed with pizza, we chatted, about our secondary school life... And we suddenly realized that many of us had tap-tap-eh-tao-mo(in Hokkien) during our early school life. Lol~ When I had a glance over our class photos, sure enough, over 50% friends had their hair either tied tight or gel flat onto their scalps, including me... XD Very few had fringes...
那天看我妈端出这盘糕饼，我的回忆就涌出来了……
在参加国民服务的时候，到了早茶或下午茶时间，我的营地通常都提供这种糕饼……呃……我到现在还不知道它叫什么名……XD
还记得，入营前听说营里没有冲凉房，营员都要在露天洗澡，女营员则要围着沙龙……那时我妈深怕娇生惯养的我不会自己围沙龙，万一冲凉冲到一半沙龙掉下来了怎么办？！我妈便在沙龙上缝了伸缩带，就不用我自己绑了……结果派不上用场，我的营地里每间dorm旁边都有淋浴间，而且都很新很干净~ 呵~ 真是万幸哪！无论如何，母爱真伟大~ ^^
还记得，我的队伍是Alpha……每个队伍都要有一个sorakan来提高士气……而我们这队的，咳……说实在是最上不了台面的："Apa itu Helang~ Helang itu Burung~" =.= 听了都没力…… 这是我们的队长和他的一票兄弟想出来的……不过这也证明了他们的单纯与可爱……
还记得，我们刚入营不久，就有事情发生了……那时我在淋浴间冲凉，冲到一半听到外面有人大叫……我还以为那些土著又玩到失心疯了……结果一进dorm就发现气氛不对，才知道隔壁dorm有个土著鬼上身了……难怪个个都脸青青……听说那个土著女生那天生病，进了厕所过后就像发疯似的掐住她朋友的脖子，而且出奇的大力，还一边大喊大叫……好多个人出手才压住了她，而且我们的马来教练还搬出了bible……有够吓人的说……
还记得，有只母猫总是在我们的dorm周围徘徊……后来它怀孕了，有个朋友就在dorm后面放了个纸箱给它做窝……有次半夜不懂哪个同房的上了厕所没把房门关紧，母猫就不请自来了……它爬到了我朋友的床上，再爬到她头上，安心睡去~ 我朋友睡到一半觉得头上有个东西压着，伸手一摸，毛茸茸的，她立刻吓得跑去我们大姐大的床上跟她挤~ 母猫也被她吓得不懂窜到哪里去了~ 哈哈~ 笑死我们了~
还记得，快要过华人新年的时候，想过年想到快发疯的我们，还坐在营里的人造湖边大唱新年歌，还有录起来，就像在拍新年MV一样~ 真是疯了的我们~ XD
还记得，新年前我们的佛教会还把我们分成几组搞余兴活动，我这组的是演戏……而且我永远都忘不了我的角色---得了自闭症的女生……要蹲下来拼了老命地把一本簿子摔向地板，还一边嘶喊：“为什么？为什么我没有拿到straight A？！” @@ 真是有损我形象的角色……
还记得，参加过国民服务的人最自豪的就是拿过M16…… 但也是我最自卑的……因为100分里面我只得了30分，而且那30分都是我旁边的军师帮我瞄的……我根本就忘了怎样瞄准…… @@
还有好多好多的还记得，多得可以写成书了~ 突然好想念那时候的生活和朋友，虽然每天要五点起床、十一点才有得睡，操练也很累，但在营里可以把脑袋放空，无忧无虑的~ ^^

AM really desperate for movies recently~ XD Especially CNY movies~ I was really beh tahan yesterday and went to watch "Homecoming" with eeyore... This movie is really funny! What with all the things happening when Karen Neo (Jack Neo) and her son (阿牛) are on their way back to Kuala Lumpur for CNY eve dinner... Haha... The taxi driver (Afdlin Shauki) is so cute and lovable! XD Especially when he's talking over the phone to his wife and their expected baby~ Though Mark Lee is acting as a stern chef this time, his Mandarin-mix-Cantonese-slang is so outrageously hilarious! He's not even acting funny this time you know, it's his slang that has done the job~! I learn from this movie that we still have to wait for the late ones before we eat our 团圆饭, no matter how starved we are... Or else the 团圆饭 will be no more a 团圆饭~

a day full of new discoveries n failed attempts~ XD

- RM25 long jeans pants!!! O.o do u believe it?! it's at a shop in Wisma Hopoh, which i oredi forgotten its existence for a long time... and i discover these jeans only after i bought RM29 jeans shorts from another shop... @@
- a bead store at One Jaya~ when i entered the shop, i feel like doing as much DIY necklace n bracelets n so on as possible~ it has got all sorts of beads that u can practically think of~ and it also offers beading lessons~
- and i just notice that 100 Yen is such a useful and cute store~ stupid me, it's so near to my home and i only know of its awesomeness today... i should have gone there more often~
We decided to try water marbling today... so we gathered our nail polishes, got all the stuffs needed, and conducted the 1st ever marbling at my home... and... sigh~ water marbling isn't just as simple like what we watched in the Youtube tutorials~! >.<
nail polish? set! cups filled with water? set! satay stick (i ran out of tooth pick XD)? set!
the amount of satay sticks + a few more that we have thrown away already = number of our attempts XD

SUDDENLY miss Toast Bar's sandwiches this morning... so my dear n i went thr to have our breakfast~ thr's some new menus, one of them is bamboo charcoal sandwich... the black coloured sandwich attracted us, so we ordered one... well, it's just like any other sandwich at Toast Bar, only the colour is smoked black...

after breakfast, impulsively i suggested we go watch "Great Day" ("天天好天")... i reli cant wait any longer to watch this movie that i've been longing to watch ever since the movie's merry ads started singing into my ears a few times a day through MY FM... n the movie is so reli nice~ so touching~ i started sobbing half way through the movie till the end n my dear had to help wipe my tears... lol~ reli, it's a gud movie portraying the bond between parents with their children, n also the bond between grandparents with their grandchildren as well... besides touching, it's also funny at times, just like wat Zhuo Hui Qing said in the ads:"笑着感动" ^^
while my eyes were still red from all the sobs, we went to Kenny Rogers for lunch~ coz my tam ciak mouth feels like eating the home-made muffin~ XD
the naughty hands' owner is my naughty dear~ XD
