WATCHED an animated film yesterday with my dear, called "Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror"... It's a 2009 anime directed by Shinsuke Sato... I thought that it's yet another wonderful anime by Miyazaki Hayao (宫崎骏) at 1st... XD This anime is generally about the journey a teenage girl named Haruka experienced in a fantasy world in order to get back her hand mirror that her mum(who had died when Haruka is still young) had given her when she was little...
These are some of the scenes in the film... The Oblivion Island is most awesomely rendered~ It's so colourful and definitely a treat for your eyes~ ^^ Besides, the whole island is built entirely using the forgotten things from human~
And here's adorable Cotton~ ^^ It's Haruka's sheep plushie that Haruka had long forgotten, an extra memory piece that Haruka gained when she was in search for the mirror~ Due to the mirror fragments that the creatures in this world had inserted into Cotton, it can talk and walk like the others... It's so cute and I like it soooo much~ When it was destroyed by the mean character, my tears spilled out... T.T All in all, this is yet another touching film I watched in this month...
